She is the host of the Gut Check Podcast, a forum for candid and informative conversations with leading health experts, physicians, and entrepreneurs on the gut microbiome, health and wellness. Caroline lives in Southern California with her family.

Jim Emme

Jim has been a member of the NOW management team since 1995, initially as Chief of Operations and then as President of NOW Foods. Jim was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of NOW Health Group (NHG) in 2014. Jim possesses a unique combination of an education in Food Science and decades of experience in the design and management of food manufacturing and distribution operations. This rare confluence of skills and experience, coupled with his appreciation for hard work and dedication learned growing up on a farm in Indiana, make him ideally suited to carry on the strong values system that the NOW brand represents. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Betsy, family and friends.

Colin Watts currently serves as Thorne’s Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for defining the global strategic direction of the company, overseeing all aspects of the business and creating a culture of strong organizational engagement to help drive growth. As a consumer products and healthcare industry veteran with a diverse set of company experiences across consumer health, nutrition and retail health, Colin has built a successful track record leading rapid-growth global businesses previously serving as CEO of The Vitamin Shoppe, CEO of JuvLife, a longevity health startup, President of Weight Watchers Health Solutions, Chief Innovation Officer at Walgreens, and Global Operating President of McNeil Nutritionals and Consumer Healthcare, a division of Johnson & Johnson. Colin played an instrumental role in launching Splenda globally during his J&J tenure and has helped shape significant brands including Tylenol, Lactaid, Campbells Soup, Chunky, LifeSavers and Ortho-Tricyclen. He brings a unique perspective to Thorne having worked on Wellness and Preventative Health from multiple angles with both consumers and professionals over the years. Colin has a BA in history from Brown University in Rhode Island, an MA in International Relations from the UPenn and an MBA from the Wharton Business School at UPenn. Colin and his wife, Auriel, have raised three daughters and now spend free time pursuing an active, wellness-focused lifestyle.

Scott Woodruff

Scott Woodruff serves as the President & CEO of Nature’s Way, having returned to the company on January 13, 2025. He brings decades of executive experience in the dietary supplement industry, having begun his career in the early 1990s. Scott became the youngest executive in Nature’s Way history in 1996, and was later promoted in 2001 to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. During this period, he played a central role in the merger of Nature’s Way and Enzymatic Therapy in Green Bay, Wisconsin—an integration that shaped the company as it exists today. He later served as Chief Marketing Officer throughout this transformation phase. In 2012, Scott advanced to Chief Product Development Officer, where he helped define the product portfolio and led the company’s successful expansion into the mass market. In 2018, Scott left Nature’s Way to become President and CEO of KD Nutra, a leader in ultra-potent marine- and plant-based Omega-3 nutrition lipids. Since 2022, he served as CEO of Acumen Health Holdings, another major organization in the supplement sector focused on the professional market. Scott’s return to Nature’s Way in 2025 marks a new chapter for the company. He will draw on his extensive industry experience, proven leadership and strategic vision to guide the continued growth and success of the business.
