Share prices of a number of large multinationals have displayed extreme volatility recently amidst news of delayed shipments and supply chain disruptions caused by the spread of COVID 19. These intricate global networks have also recently been jolted by geopolitical trade tensions, prompting many companies to reassess and move parts of their supply chains.

How can companies prepare for seismic events like these? Will supply chains be transformed as a result? How will this impact trade agreements?

Samuel John Mathew, Head, Documentary Trade and Product Management, Standard Chartered and Dr Parag Khanna, Managing Partner, FutureMap, and best-selling author, discuss the long term trends and movements of supply chain networks as well as the short term implications of the virus. The session will be moderated by Manisha Tank, award winning journalist and co-host of the Breakfast Huddle on Singapore’s Money FM.
