His deep knowlewge about application integration management enabled him to be a highly appreciated speaker at Z conferences (IBM InterConnect, Automation Guide, etc.).

Joachim Schmalzried is a thought leader certified IT specialist at the IBM research and development lab in Böblingen, Germany. Joachim provides worldwide technical enablement and education for z/OS automation and network management.
Joachim has more than 30 years of experience as a systems programmer, consultant and systems management IT specialist with especially in high availability, automated operations, business continuity, IT Financial management and chargeback as well as cloud computing.
He has established and performed automation health checks around the world and has created a methodology for automation assessments.
Joachim has a degree in physics of the University of Tübingen, a certificate in market management and is a frequent speaker at international IBM internal and client conferences.

Aaron has been working in the IBM Z monitoring space for over 20 years in various roles on products spanning IT Operations Monitoring, IT Operations Analytics, and APM solutions.

He has co-authored several IBM Redbooks and journal articles on z/OS resource monitoring and management.

Domenico D’Alterio is the IBM Offering Manager focused on IBM z IT Operational Analytics products (including IBM Z Decision Support). He is responsible for product strategy and direction as well as market success of IBM Common Data Provider for z Systems and IBM Z Decision Support as well as contributing to the product strategy for IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS product.
Prior to his current role, Domenico covered different managerial positions in IBM Development and Customer support organization. Domenico joined IBM in 1999. Starting as designer, moved to a managerial role in 2006, acting as Development and Customer Support manager in the former Tivoli division of IBM. He graduated in Electronic Engineering, in Italy.
