Abstract

In today's competitive and evolving market, manufacturers must be more accurate and efficient than ever to reduce waste and rework. This not only helps in staying profitable and relevant but also ensures sustainability and competitiveness in the industry.

Join us for an insightful session presented by X-Rite’s color expert Tim Mouw. During this webinar, we’ll focus on critical aspects of the manufacturing workflow that pertain to color quality and cover the appropriate tools for each inspection point. We’ll also dive into key strategies and pointers to help operators and quality professionals reach their potential and ensure color quality is on point.

In this webinar, you will learn:
  • When to rely on visual evaluation vs. When instrumental measurements are necessary to ensure accurate and repeatable color assessments.
  • Where and when to inspect color in the workflow to prevent defects, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Why utilizing spectrophotometers, color management software, LED light booths, and digital standards can enhance color accuracy and sustainability.
  • Insights into DeltaE, setting realistic tolerances, and improving communication across teams to avoid unnecessary rework.
  • Strategies to streamline color workflows, formulate with bio-sourced or leftover materials, reduce material waste, and align color quality with sustainability initiatives.
