Michael Barrett

President & CEO


Michael Barrett was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Rubicon Project, one of the world’s largest advertising exchanges, before the company merged with Telaria to form Magnite where he now holds the same title. Before joining Rubicon Project, Michael was President and Chief Executive Officer at Millennial Media, a leading independent mobile ad technology company. In October 2015, AOL/Verizon acquired Millennial Media. Previously, he served as President and Founder of Ichabod Farm Ventures LLC, a private investment firm he established after working as Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of Yahoo. Earlier, Michael worked at Google, where he led integration efforts following the acquisition of Admeld Inc., where he also served as Chief Executive Officer. He has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer at Fox Interactive Media, Executive Vice President of Sales and Partnerships at AOL Media Networks, and in senior sales positions at GeoCities and Disney Online. Michael was an economics major at The College of the Holy Cross, and currently serves as a Trustee of the College. He and his wife, Cheryl, have three children, Stephanie, Anne, and Christine.

Adam Soroca

Chief Product Officer


Adam Soroca is Magnite’s Chief Product Officer responsible for the company’s strategic product direction, product roadmap and go-to-market initiatives. Before taking on the newly created role in May 2021 following the acquisition of SpotX, Adam led the global revenue and go-to-market strategy for Magnite’s buy-side business serving brands, agencies and buying platforms. Adam served as Co-Founder Chief Executive Officer and Director of nToggle acquired by Rubicon Project in 2017. He founded nToggle to help buyers and sellers trade with greater efficiency and transparency as the programmatic era comes of age. The core nToggle technology is now deeply integrated into the Magnite platform. Adam is both a digital advertising entrepreneur and inventor, holding over 90 awarded patents spanning mobile advertising and search techniques. Adam was Chief Product Officer at Millennial Media (via acquisition of Jumptap), where he oversaw the global product and operations teams. As Chief Product Officer and a founding leadership team member at Jumptap, he helped build it into the leading mobile programmatic and audience platform. He pioneered bringing both audience data (DMP) and programmatic capabilities (DSP) to the mobile industry. Prior to Jumptap, he served as General Manager of Search Services for Lycos, Inc., which included overseeing Lycos Search and HotBot, the award-winning, leading search engines in the Lycos Network. Adam’s other experience includes Group Product Manager for Lycos InSite™, running three business units for internet retailer and managing business development for Cybersmith. Adam graduated with cum laude honors from Middlebury College and lives in Cambridge, MA with his wife Karen, and daughters Sarah and Julia.

J. Allen Dove



J. Allen Dove is Chief Technology Officer for Magnite and leads all of the company’s technology efforts, innovations and platforms. He brings to Magnite more than 20 years of experience in information technology leadership and execution. Throughout his career, Allen has worked at the C-level for companies ranging in size from Fortune 500 to startups, successfully developing and executing technology strategies and programs. Throughout his career, Allen has focused on information security and large-scale transactional systems. Prior to SpotX, Allen was a founder and CTO of ShadowLogic Inc., an information assurance and national security solutions engineering firm. Allen also served as the CTO of AppNet, Inc., a company publicly traded and subsequently acquired by Commerce One in April 2000. Allen was responsible for all facets of AppNet’s technology innovations and focuses. Allen has been a part of defining and innovating within the ad tech spaces since its inception. Ingrained with the unique scale and technical challenges of ad tech, Allen has been very active in leading, defining and delivering industry standards such as VAST (since v1.0), OpenRTB and AdCom.

Katie Evans

Chief Operating Officer


As Chief Operating Officer, Katie is responsible for scaling Magnite’s global service operations and overseeing the company’s client operations, technical operations and business intelligence teams. Before merging with Rubicon Project, Katie was Chief Operating Officer at Telaria, where she was responsible for the operations of the company, and the alignment of its global strategy, roadmap, and processes to fully realize the company’s growth. Katie joined Telaria in 2010. Her tenure included the oversight of teams across both the buy and sell side of the business, prior to the sale of the DSP in August 2017, including operations, client services, product marketing and HR teams. Evans has built and led teams that have transformed the company’s business. Katie holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.

Sean Buckley

Chief Revenue Officer, CTV


Sean Buckley is Magnite’s Chief Revenue Officer for CTV and is responsible for the company’s revenue-related activities for CTV as well as demand relationships. Sean joins Magnite from the acquisition of SpotX where he held the position of Chief Operating Officer where he oversaw and drove SpotX’s broader business objectives including the overarching company vision. He was responsible for operations, sales, partnerships and marketing for the company. Sean joined SpotX in 2013 to expand the company’s platform business, providing media owners with a solution to holistically manage their programmatic video strategy. At SpotX, Sean held numerous positions including, VP, Platform; SVP, Global Revenue, and Chief Revenue Officer, and was instrumental in growing the business. Sean has received industry-wide recognition for his work at SpotX, most recently being named one of Business Insider’s “TV Insiders to Know.”

Joe Prusz

Chief Revenue Officer, DV+


Joe Prusz is responsible for all revenue-related activities across Magnite’s DV+ platform globally, and CTV platform internationally, with the goal of continuing the adoption and growth of programmatic advertising across Display, Video, Mobile, Audio, and CTV. He spent the last 13 years at Rubicon Project in various capacities, from CRO to Head of Americas, to Head of Mobile where he was responsible for general management and strategic oversight of the mobile business, building a startup within a startup and taking it from nearly $0 in advertising spend to nine figures in under three years. Joe holds a BS and MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and lives in Austin, TX with his wife Cristina, and their two children, Hudson and Marlowe.

David Day



David Day oversees the planning, reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, financial systems and investor relations functions for Magnite. Before merging with Telaria to form Magnite, David served as Rubicon Project’s Chief Financial Officer, and previously as Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to joining Rubicon Project, David held various financial executive roles in high-growth technology-based advertising companies, including Chief Accounting Officer at ReachLocal, which focused on helping local businesses solve online marketing needs. He was also Vice President of Finance at Spot Runner, a company that helped simplify the buying and selling of television media. Another major role for David was as Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller of Overture Services, the originator of the paid search advertising model. Subsequent to Overture’s acquisition by Yahoo, David served as Senior Vice President of Finance for Yahoo Search Marketing. He was also co-founder of SignJammer, a start-up in the out-of-home advertising market. David spent his early career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers—including a three-year stint in PwC’s Frankfurt, Germany office. He has a BS from Brigham Young University. David lives in Los Angeles and he and his wife Debbilyn have three children, Ryan, Jeremy and Camille.
