8x8 Product and Innovation Overview

Samuel (Sam) Wilson serves as interim Chief Executive Officer of 8x8. Sam brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, strategy, business development and sales to drive 8x8's business forward. Having held multiple leadership positions with the company, Sam possesses in-depth knowledge of the growth and expense drivers of 8x8’s business.

Hunter is an accomplished product management leader with more than 20 years experience creating engaging, industry-leading telecommunications, social collaboration and enterprise software applications. He joined 8x8 from Jive Software where he was Vice President and Head of Product Management. Prior to Jive, Hunter was the Head of Product Management at Google for Work Systems, where he led the Google Apps Enterprise product team as it grew G-Suite to serve over one million companies worldwide.

Medhi leads 8x8′s global network, data center, and security operations, enabling enterprise-grade service delivery to be a key differentiation for the company. In addition, he is chartered with spearheading the company’s DevOps cultural transformation to accelerate the delivery of innovative features and services. Prior to his current role at 8x8, Mehdi led the company’s network operations, service deployment, customer support and success organizations. Under his leadership, 8x8 has built a world-class global cloud service delivery and network infrastructure, resulting in increased customer satisfaction.

Dhwani Soni is working at 8x8 as Global Vice President for Product Management, Design and Operations. She is responsible for leading the Product strategy, vision, and user experience for the company’s integrated cloud communications, collaboration, and contact center solutions. Previously, Dhwani successfully built and led the design team at MobileIron. Her passion for building a strong customer experience is based on end-user trust and privacy, striving for enhanced efficiency, increased social collaboration, and driving accelerated product engagement. She is passionate about leadership and has been an active mentor and coach for inspiring and supporting her fellow women in technology and design.

Patrick Russell is a contact center expert with 18 years in the industry and is the Director of Product Management at 8x8. Patrick has held nearly every role within a contact center to include managing operations of several thousand agents, and has been recognized as an industry thought leader by several organizations. With a passion for technology and finding new ways to help businesses improve, Patrick is an optimistic, creative thinking problem solver with an employee-first approach to improving the customer experience. When he’s not working you can find Patrick working on carpentry projects or traveling the world.

Kevin Kraus is responsible for the 8x8’s financial planning and operations. Mr. Kraus has served as the Senior Vice President of Finance at the company since October 2019, with responsibility for overseeing the company’s financial planning & analysis and procurement functions. Prior to joining 8x8, Mr. Kraus served as Vice President of Finance for Imperva, a cyber security software company, from 2018 until 2019 and Senior Director of Finance for Gigamon, a network visibility and traffic monitoring technology company.
