Kenley joined Trane in 2018 where his primary responsibilities are to implement strategies to grow the pipeline of Variable Refrigerant Flow business in the Western US. He has extensive experience consulting with mechanical engineering firms, architects, and building owners about how to optimize their energy consumption in buildings with modern HVAC systems.

Prior to joining Trane he worked over 15 years as a sales engineer with one of the largest HVAC distributors in the country. He holds a BS and MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa. Kenley lives in Los Angeles, CA where he enjoys spending time with his wife and two school-aged children.

Charles Jelen

Account Manager

Trane Company

Charles is the decarbonization program manager based out of La Crosse, Wisconsin. He has been involved in the development and support of HVAC systems for Trane since 2012. His areas of expertise are in hydronic systems, refrigerants, system modeling, and decarbonized system designs including the electrification of heating. As the decarbonization program manager Charles has responsibility for key account decarbonization and customer project support across North America. Charles has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a member of ASHRAE.
