Facility-Wide Energy-Saving Approaches

Many industrial heating firms have diligently sought to reduce energy use in recent years to save money and help reduce foreign energy imports. Such measures have been partly responsible for a significant decline in U.S. energy consumption since 2007. Is it still possible to save more? This webinar will examine a wide array of energy-saving techniques to consider implementing. Viewers will be exposed to new opportunities for conserving fuel and electricity, reducing CO2 emissions and saving cost.

The following types of energy savings will be addressed in this webinar:

  • Burners and atmosphere generators (CO/O2 analysis, pulse firing)
  • Heat-recovery equipment (recuperative, regenerative, storage)
  • Quenching equipment (oil, molten salt)
  • Furnace construction (insulation, thermography, material handling)
  • Furnace operation (sequencing, control, material heatup/cool down)
  • Auxiliary equipment (blowers, compressors, liquid pumps, vacuum pumps)
  • Manufacturing environment (heating, air conditioning, etc.)
