Olivier Ribet

Olivier Ribet joined Dassault Systèmes in September 2013 as Vice President, High-Tech Industry.

In this position, he is responsible for helping high-tech companies worldwide adapt to fast-paced market trends and deliver innovative electronic experiences for their end-customers by using Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform to transform their business processes. 

He is also driving the impact of the company’s High-Tech Industry on sustainable innovation in multiple industries through smart products and systems, embedded electronics and software, and IT and communications infrastructures that support cloud transformation.

Olivier Ribet brings over 20 years of international experience in the software, high-tech and telecom markets to Dassault Systèmes.  During his career, he has led businesses and teams across Europe, North America and Asia in strategy, marketing, and business development. Prior to joining Dassault Systèmes, Olivier Ribet spent over a decade at Microsoft, where he held senior management positions including Head of Mobile Business France and later Senior Director, Windows Business Division.  While at Microsoft, he was part of a team that was granted a patent for a method of extracting key terms in text mining.  Before this, he worked in a number of senior-level sales, marketing and business development capacities at Bull/ATOS EMEA and EDF.

Olivier Ribet is a graduate of the Institute des Etudes Politiques in Bordeaux, France, and completed courses in finance, marketing and business strategy at INSEAD.

Tom Kerber

Director, Research, Home Controls & Energy

Parks Associates

Tom leads Parks Associates research in the areas of home controls, energy management, and home networks. Tom authors numerous reports on energy management and home controls covering the evolution of technology, partnership opportunities, and new business models. Tom’s work at Parks Associates includes managing consumer surveys that track trends and market opportunities and enable insightful evidence-based forecasting for energy, security, and home controls. Tom speaks frequently at key industry events, and his views are sought out by national press organizations and publications.

Tom has done extensive consulting with many Fortune 500 companies, helping clients define or refine smart home strategies, develop strategic plans including market assessments, competitive positioning, channel analysis, and scenarios of the future of the smart home market.  Tom has assisted numerous clients with enhancing product roadmaps including researching product features, product mix modeling, packaging, messaging, and developing overall new product launch go-to-market strategies.

Tom has also done extensive consulting with electric utilities operating in a variety of regulator structures. Recent utility engagements include defining the home area network roadmap for a California IOU, updating the consumer engagement strategy for a traditional vertically integrated IOU, providing consumer and industry analysis to refine EE and DR programs for an IOU in a restructured market, and providing insights on the evolution of the connected home for a large Midwest IOU. 

Prior to working at Parks Associates, Tom worked as director of engineering and director of product management in multiple industries. Tom began his career in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program on submarines. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in systems engineering and a master's in software engineering from the University of Texas.

Rod McLane currently serves as Senior Director of Product Marketing at Ayla Networks. Rod has over 20 years of experience in hightech enterprise marketing with industry-leading companies including Genesys, Amdocs, Aspect Communications and Hitachi.

Most recently, Rod was the Director of Solutions Marketing for Genesys, a market-leading provider of contact center solutions, where he was responsible for outbound messaging, positioning and go-to-marketing strategy for the Genesys cloud-based contact center solution suite.
