Petra has been working with Chromatography for more than 30 years. She started her career in separation science in 1983, using all kinds of chromatographic methods for food control in a governmental lab. In 1986, she joined Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, working in the pharmaceutical R&D and QC department for the development of HPLC methods.

As sales specialist for HPLC instruments and technical support manager, she supported customers with technical and application related inquires in Europe. Since 2002, she has been a global product manager for analytical Chromatography (HPLC) and, since 2014, has been focusing on Thin-layer-Chromatography.
