David Sabbagh (Purdue, BS Chemical Engineering) has been with DuPont Nutrition & Health for 16 years in various R&D roles within Process R&D, Engineering and Food Applications Development. In his current role, David leads Applications Development at DuPont Nutrition & Health with an emphasis on the beverage industry. His integrated 14 person team of research fellows, scientists and technologists is focused on creating novel applications of breakthrough ingredient technologies and delivering product development innovations and solutions to a diverse consumer packaged goods and foodservice customer base. The team drives applications development throughout the industry by translating consumer insight needs into comprehensive development solutions spanning the company’s broad product portfolio including protein, fiber, hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, blend systems, probiotics, sweeteners, enzymes, protectants and targeted functional extracts.
Jean Heggie Strategic Marketing Lead DuPont Global Product Marketing Leader/Protein DuPont Nutrition & Health
Jean Heggie is currently Global Product Marketing Leader/Protein for DuPont Nutrition & Health and has over 20 years’ experience in food ingredient marketing. She is responsible for the company’s global marketing initiatives focused on the protein ingredient portfolio. Much of her career at DuPont Nutrition & Health has been focused on expanding opportunities for the company’s ingredients in key health and wellness markets around the globe. Ms. Heggie holds a B.S. in Food and Nutrition, a M.S. in Adult Education and a M.B.A, with an emphasis in marketing, all from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
Ken Donaven Business Director The Martec Group
Ken Donaven is a Director with The Martec Group and he has diverse experience in myriad industries including food & food equipment, construction, chemical and industrial. His 17+ years of experience in technical market research include a wide variety of assignments. Ken currently serves as Martec’s Voice-of-Customer methodology lead, encompassing both quantitative and qualitative research techniques. Through his career, he has moderated hundreds of focus groups and supported dozens of quantitative brand and message tracking initiatives. Mr. Donaven holds a BA in English from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
