Angelina De Castro is Senior Marketing Manager at Ingredion, where she is responsible for the Wholesome innovation initiative in North America. This platform includes functional clean label texturizers, multi-functional flours, non-GMO Project verified, and organic certified ingredients. Prior to this role, Angelina held the position of Marketing Manager for the Savory segment. She has also held a variety of positions in the Customer Solutions and Product Innovation group, where she was responsible for regional technical support for customers in North America. Angelina holds a master’s degree in food science and technology from Texas A&M University and a bachelor’s degree in food industry engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) in Mexico.

Product Manager, Pulses and Rice, Europe


Janin Zippel is an expert in ingredients marketing with a strong focus on clean and simple products. She has 4 years’ experience in consumer trend and insights research and over 4 years’ B2B marketing experience in the food industry. Her role as Product Manager at Ingredion brings specialism in pulse- and rice-based ingredient solutions. Janin has a professional Diploma in Marketing from CIM Cambridge Marketing College, UK and a Master’s in Sociology from the University of Rostock.
