Abstract:

As energy usage and costs are expected to increase over the next 30 years, new legislations and regulations have emerged focusing on reducing the energy footprint and improving building sustainability. These regulations are being enforced by state and federal governments, and target HVAC/R equipment and its ability to efficiently manage energy usage. Join the session to learn about these regulations and how variable frequency drives (VFDs) can improve equipment energy efficiency without sacrificing energy usage.

Matt Phillips is the Global Product Manager for variable frequency drives. He has more than six years of experience with Eaton in various roles within operations and marketing. Matt is responsible for Eaton’s Global variable frequency drives strategy including new product development and market strategy. Matt has a degree in mechanical engineering from West Virginia University.
