James Wood joined International SOS and Control Risks in May 2011. He oversees the wider security support provided to clients through consulting and training within the EMEA region. As the lead security resource in the UK & Ireland, James works closely with clients at a strategic level to ensure appropriate support in their Travel Risk Mitigation processes.
Prior to joining International SOS and Control Risks, James was a police officer with Thames Valley Police. James has a BA (Hons) in French and History from the University of Warwick, specializing in French foreign policy and American politics.
Tim Willis Director of EMEA Corporate Security
Dataminr
Tim Willis is EMEA Director for Corporate Security sales for Dataminr. Prior to joining Dataminr, Tim spent over 10 years in the corporate security sector with one of the world's leading security consultancies, working with companies across all industry sectors in Africa and the Middle East. His experience includes supporting clients in crisis during coups in Central and West Africa, evacuations from North Africa during the Arab Spring, and risk assessments and managing security operations across the continent, as well as in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Prior to his corporate experience, Tim served as a troop leader in an armoured reconnaissance regiment in the British Army.
