Orchestrate your Test Data Management process with Test Coverage
Start Date:10/18/2017
Start Time:11:00 AM EDT
Duration:60 minutes
Abstract:
Leading development teams are seeking to increase their project velocity, improve software quality, and reduce costs via Continuous Testing and Delivery. Improving quality does not mean testing every possible permutation, nor does it require cloning production data to be sure you have test data coverage. This is expensive, slow, and increases data privacy exposure. It often translates into spending more time looking for data than actually running tests.
A better approach is to use business rules to drive test data coverage. By developing dynamic, reusable ‘coverage intelligence’—organizations can test everything that actually matters—and it can be validated with the business. Automatically matching your test cases to your current portfolio of test data enables you to determine if you need to fabricate new data or go back to the original source to find more data to mitigate the gaps.
This Business to Coverage to Data orchestration is not just a methodology, it is a reality you can implement today using software that works directly with IBM InfoSphere Optim for test data extraction and sensitive data obfuscation. During this webinar, you will learn how leading organization are succeeding using this approach to drive down cost and risk even while accelerating the pace of delivery.
