Sanam has been working for Box since October 2012. During her tenure she has help the company grow
from a 500 person startup with one location to a public company with over 1300 employees worldwide.
She currently manages the legal commercial team and procurement teams. In addition, she handles
litigation, privacy, product lifecycle, corporate, government process, security, compliance and
employment matters for Box.
Prior to joining Box, she was an Associate in the Technology Transactions Group at Orrick, Herrington &
Sutcliffe LLP in the Menlo Park office working with both big companies and emerging companies. Sanam
began her legal career as an Associate in the IP Litigation Group at Townsend, Townsend & Crew LLP in
Palo Alto concentrating on patent litigation and complex business litigation.
Sanam received her B.S. in Biology from U.C.L.A., M.S. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University,
and J.D. from U.C. Davis School of Law
