You Can't Provide Good Building Security Without Good Cybersecurity

Duration:60 minutes

All networked systems and devices are exposed to cybersecurity threats. Building security systems are no exception to this rule. Many security systems have been afflicted by ransomware and cyber vulnerabilities. Some have been exploited to create bot armies or to provide an easy entry point for cyber criminals looking to attack valuable corporate assets. Neglect of cyber-hygiene is at the root of many of these issues.

This live panel convenes a team of experts who will share with you the common threats faced by building security systems and best practices you can implement to protect your organization.

4 Learning objectives:

  • Learn about the threats faced by building security systems
  • Understand how to assess your current vulnerabilities
  • Gain knowledge of best practices used for maintaining proper cyber-hygiene
  • Determine what you should ask building security system manufacturers and service providers about cybersecurity
