Abstract:
The term Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming more common in business meetings, sales calls, industry conferences, and commercial advertising, but what does it mean for the pumping industry and how it can be leveraged for business improvements? The answer, simply put, is that there is no easy answer. In this session we will explore the promise of connected devices, or IoT, and how the HVAC ecosystem can work seamlessly together through automated processes with limited intervention or manual input from traditional human users.

Speakers
 Jacob Wysocki Jake Wysocki is the product manager for Software and IoT for the Industrial Controls Division, Eaton. In this role, Jake is responsible for the division IoT strategy, and working with the various product lines to provide technologies that add value to their customer bases. Jake has over six years of experience with Eaton from the sales and marketing organizations. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida.
 Seth O'Brien Seth is the Product Manager, HVAC Variable Frequency Drives, Industrial Controls Division, Eaton. Seth has five years of experience with Eaton in various sales and marketing roles. Seth is responsible for Eaton’s HVAC strategy including new product development and sales execution. Seth holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida and is an MBA candidate with the University of Wisconsin.
