
Jen Hawkins

Jen Hawkins is the Director of Industry Digital Transformation at VIATechnik, a VDC strategy and implementation consulting firm. Jen focuses on digitalization of the supply chain; seamlessly connecting building product distributors, fabricators, and manufactures to their Customers through content, turning data into digital assets to power the digital supply chain.
With a background in architecture, engineering, and construction, Jen has worked on world-class projects leading design integration, design for manufacturing, project execution, research, and product development. She previously worked at DPR Construction and Digital Building Components.
Jen has a Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and was a research assistant at the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE). Jen also holds a Masters of Architecture from University of Pennsylvania.

Steve Fleck
Chief Practice and Project Officer

Steve Fleck is Stantec's Chief Practice and Project Officer, responsible for managing the strategic positioning, contractual elements, and governance of the firm’s largest projects while overseeing alternative project delivery. He also oversees operation of Stantec’s corporate functional services teams, which focus on advising and enabling the business. Additionally, Steve is an executive member of Stantec’s Global Pandemic Committee, a leadership body established years ago with diverse expertise, ranging from operational safety and risk management to security and public health toxicology. In that position, Steve was centrally involved in companywide efforts to activate, resource, and advise project teams around the globe in supporting clients through the COVID-19 pandemic.
With more than 35 years of experience in engineering, project management, and business management in Sweden, Chile, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada; Steve is a recognized expert on project management and public private partnerships and has navigated Stantec through P3 project implementation on big endeavors such as the South Fraser Perimeter Road project in British Columbia. He has presented to organizations and conferences throughout North America and has lectured at the University of British Columbia, the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Penn State University.
Steve currently serves as a director on the National Research Council advisory board, with board service over the years also including Providence Health Care, the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Canada (ACEC-Canada) and ACEC – British Columbia.

Ron Sattan's career at Mott MacDonald has spanned over 25 years, continuously delivering technology solutions to enable commercial success. He is always looking for new opportunities to leverage digital to improve outcomes and by default is adaptable and innovative. He has held numerous roles in his tenure at Mott MacDonald including IT Director and Digital leader and is currently focused on expanding and delivering the firm’s digital x domain proposition to clients. As technology is an ever-changing landscape of opportunity, Ron is constantly looking to learn and improve his skills and has demonstrated a strong ability to build alliances to help deliver value to Mott MacDonald's business. He holds an undergraduate degree in Management and Information Sciences as well as an MBA, both from Rutgers University.
