Process Safety Management: Build and Optimize a Program that Fits Your Organization

ON DEMAND UNTIL MARCH 28. 2020

Duration:60 minutes

Abstract:

Building a best-in class Process Safety Management (PSM) program starts with understanding and properly addressing the 14 elements of PSM outlined by OSHA. This can feel like an overwhelming project for those who are just getting started, but these elements can be grouped into four key topics: documentation, people management, asset management, and incident response. This makes developing a new PSM program or assessing your current programs much easier. Once you’ve established a foundation, you can leverage what you know about your organization to prioritize the roll out of your PSM program to maximize user adoption and demonstrate value to management.

You will learn:

  • The 14 elements of PSM and how to group them to make managing them more efficient
  • How to identify internal stakeholders and understand what’s important to them
  • How to implement a best-in-class PSM program using real-world examples
  • How to optimize your program and drive continuous improvements once the project has ended
