ON DEMAND UNTIL MAY 26, 2023
Abstract:
Fatalities, serious incidents, costly job-site delays, and unnecessary litigation plague construction sites. This webinar focuses on work practices and safety hazards associated with heavy-duty high rises, bridges, and commercial, retail, and industrial structures. We will also address OSHA’s practice of using compliance and enforcement directives to guide inspectors on construction job sites.
These directives are the basis for issuing violations and fines – more than the language of standards. Safety and health professionals, project owners, general contractors, and subcontractors should realize the differences between OSHA standards and compliance directives issued by the agency.
