Jon Cherry currently serves as Global Head of Options as well as Head of Client Development – NTSI Americas and is responsible for sales, business development, trading, and oversight of Northern Trust’s Options and Institutional Brokerage business. The Global Options business is an institutional brokerage service under Northern Trust Capital Markets. Jon, and his core team, are headquartered in Chicago and are leading providers of trading and service to institutional clients, which include, Public Funds, Foundations & Endowments, Hedge Funds, and Investment Managers & Family Offices. An industry veteran, Jon brings over 20 years' experience in the options market managing extremely large and complex client relationships.
Jon joined Northern Trust in November, 2015. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Jon ran his own trading group in Chicago, developing option strategies and trading for Banks, Hedge Funds, and Asset managers.

Andrew Hull
Associate ETF Strategist

Andrew provides in-depth analysis and commentary related to ETF investing, focusing on tracking industry trends and communicating ETF strategies. He contributes to the First Trust Investment Insights blog as well as to the quarterly newsletter, Inside First Trust ETFs. Previously, Andrew was an Economic Analyst for First Trust, where he was responsible for analyzing economic indicators and providing economic research. Andrew was also a Vice President of Commercial Banking at Columbia Bank. Andrew holds a BA in Business Economics from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL.

Raghu Ramachandran

Raghu Ramachandran is Head of Insurance Asset Channel at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). In this role, he is responsible for applying S&P DJI resources to solve problems for insurance companies. Raghu works on how indices are used to create innovative products for insurance companies, benchmarking general account portfolios and the use of ETFs by insurance companies. Prior to joining S&P DJI, Raghu was CIO at a P&C and a Life insurance company. Prior to working at insurance companies, Raghu was an insurance portfolio manager and head of the portfolio strategy group for Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Previously, Raghu also worked at Tillinghast (now Willis Towers Watson), developing stochastic modeling tools. He has extensive experience in portfolio and liquidity management, portfolio strategy, hedging, product development, and stochastic modelling. Raghu regularly writes and speaks about investment issues related to insurance. Raghu publishes a yearly analysis of ETF usage by insurance companies. In 2019 and 2018, the paper received the “Best ETFs Paper” award from Savvy Investor, and in 2017, the paper received a “Highly Commended” award in the same category. His co-authored paper “Variable Annuity Volatility Management: An Era of Risk-Control” has been included in syllabi for two different Society of Actuaries exams. Raghu is also a member of the SOA’s Sustainable Development Goals Task Force. Raghu has a bachelor’s degree in physics and a bachelor’s degree in astronomy from the University of Texas at Austin.

Bill O'Keefe

Bill works with insurance companies, target outcome funds and other investors to help in their understanding of how to implement customized transactions using FLEX options and other exchange-listed options. Prior to working at Cboe, Bill ran a FLEX-only execution desk at X-Change Financial Access (XFA). He was a member on the floor of the Cboe Options Exchange for more than 17 years. Bill earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Matt Moran

Matt Moran is Head of Index Insights at Cboe Global Markets. In this role, Moran is focused on the exchange's educational efforts for pension funds, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), mutual funds, and other institutional investors. He has traveled to more than 100 cities worldwide to educate investors and deliver financial presentations. Prior to joining Cboe, Moran served as Trust Counsel at Harris Bank and Vice President at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He is an associate editor of The Journal of Beta Investment Strategies and has written articles for several financial publications, including The Journal of Trading and The Journal of Alternative Investments. Moran holds MBA and JD degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
