Abstract:

Making high-quality industrial coatings requires formulators to produce several performance properties that often have opposing requirements. In many cases, by optimizing one property, formulators encounter negative impact to another. This webinar will focus on putting performance control in the hands of formulators by selecting and using the right additives-say good-bye to sacrificing one property to achieve another.

Speaker

Carol Traister

Carol Traister graduated from Hanover College with a B.A. in Chemistry and a M.A. in Business from Webster University. She has 35 years of experience in the coatings field. She began her career as a Chemist for Flint Ink Corporation in 1985 and has worked for Porter Paints as Sr. Group Leader, Dar-Tech as Technical Sales for Distribution, and BYK-Gardner as Regional Sales Mgr. Since 2012, she has been with BYK USA as a Distribution Technical Support Specialist, then a Sr. Technical Sales Representative. She is now End Use Manager for Special Coatings with responsibility for North America; this includes the areas of Can, Coil, General Industrial, and Powder Coatings. Carol is the past President of the Louisville Society for Coatings Technology.
