Empowering Black Women in Technology: Navigating & Overcoming Challenges

Start Date:3/16/2023

Start Time:6:30 PM EDT

Duration:60 minutes

Abstract:

Navigating microaggressions, pay gaps and gender inequality are unfortunately crucial factors for the professional growth and development of minority groups, in technology and across various industries. Given these challenges and the underrepresentation of Black women in the technology space, ensuring that Black women are empowered to show up authentically and thrive as a technologist has never been more important. In honour of Women’s History Month, join us as we chat with successful Black women in tech and explore how to navigate and overcome some of these common challenges. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn, gain insight and make connections with Black technologists at RBC at the exclusive RBC-BPTN Tech Talk on March 16, 2023.
