Kostya Zolotusky
PiiQ Risk Partners, iFLI Managing Partner
Kostya Zolotusky joined PiiQ Risk Partners in September 2019 to lead the development of insurance backed aircraft finance business iFLI (Integrated Finance Linked Insurance).
Prior to BGC Kostya spent his entire career in commercial aircraft development, sales and finance with The Boeing Company.
From 2004 until his retirement from Boeing in 2018, Kostya led Boeing Capital’s
Capital Markets Development and Leasing initiatives by working together with financial institutions worldwide to develop new and improved market efficiencies in aircraft finance and investment.
Prior to that assignment, he was working in Boeing Capital’s Aircraft Financial Services group as a senior director covering European airlines. In this position, Zolotusky structured aircraft financing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ European customers. Before joining Boeing Capital in June 2000, he acquired a wealth of experience from his time as a sales director of European and Leasing Company Sales for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, as well as from other leadership roles in the Commercial Airplanes Sales, Marketing and Engineering organizations. Zolotusky joined Boeing in 1985 as avionics engineer in the Flight Simulation Laboratory.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. He also has developed and taught computer science courses.
Zolotusky was elected to the Board of Directors for the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) in 2015.
Zolotusky, his wife Rebecca and their children, Rachel and Jacob, live in Seattle.
