Feonix – Mobility Rising

Valerie is an international expert in rural transportation and mobility as a service in low population density communities. She recently spent 2 ½ years leading one of the nation’s top mobility start-ups - Liberty Mobility Now, the first rural-focused Mobility as a Service (MaaS) provider in the US. In less than 12 months the start-up was serving 5 states across more than 300 zip codes and had a national agreement with UnitedHealthcare. In 2017, she was featured by Smithsonian Magazine, New York Times, NPR, and the Christian Science Monitor. Lefler also serves as CEO of Transportation Tech – an online training program and education platform for Intelligent Transportation Systems.

Feonix – Mobility Rising

Richard LaPratt, Area Manager for Feonix Mobility Rising, has over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector and has worked in several states, in both a management and consulting capacity. Mr. LaPratt has worked with communities supporting leaders and local agencies for critical events, such as Hurricane Katrina and Rita (2005), the H1N1 flu season, Deep Impact Oil Spill (2009), Hurricane Isaac (2012), as well as the SC Flooding Event (2015) and most recently Hurricane Matthew (2016). Mr. LaPratt’s work has included volunteer management, disaster information dissemination and coordination, as well as handling difficult situations.
