Abstract

Greenhouse gas emissions are soaring, and the need for boiler compliance has never been more pressing. Embracing energy-efficient practices and harnessing the power of alternative fuels is not just a choice — it's the roadmap we all must follow.

Join us at Tomorrow's Energy Today Sustainable Fuels Webinar, where we'll unveil cutting-edge strategies and innovative solutions that are reshaping our industry. This webinar presents our latest PIE Course: Future Fuels; upon completion of the 60-minute webinar and brief quiz, earn Professional Development Hour (PDH) credit.

We’ll explore:
  • Hydrogen blends as a viable carbon reduction source and fossil fuel alternative. Combined with natural gas, hydrogen blends can be used in existing natural gas infrastructure.
  • Biofuel as a viable alternative to #2 oil. Biofuels are derived from renewable sources and waste materials, release carbon dioxide that’s absorbed by those sources during their growth (meaning no additional carbon enters the atmosphere), and can be produced domestically.
  • The connection between low NOx technology and Local Law 97 compliance. Although Local Law 97 does not specifically require the use of low NOx technology, it can be an effective way to reduce emissions and help buildings meet Local Law 97 requirements.
Learning Objectives:
  1. Uncover groundbreaking greenhouse gas reduction strategies through hydrogen blends and biofuels.
  2. Review renewable biofuels, carbon-neutral growth, and energy-efficient practices.
  3. Gain insights on aligning low NOx technology with LL97 compliance to adhere to emissions requirements.
  4. Elevate expertise in emissions reduction and fuel technology to manage environmental and regulatory challenges.
Who should attend?
  • Engineering and facilities professionals
  • Government officials and regulators
  • School district representatives
  • Members of relevant organizations
