He has spent his entire career in market research, leading engagements for many of the world’s largest manufacturers and retailers including Pepsi, Coke, Starbucks, Microsoft, Disney, Lexus, Porsche, Nissan, Infiniti and Audi, as well as dozens of mid-sized companies across food, beverage and other CPG categories. At IRI, Larry oversees commercial sales strategy and drives new product adoption among clients. As one of IRI’s key thought leaders, he is a frequent speaker at industry events including The Beverage Forum, Shopper Marketing, HOP—State of Mass Beauty, FMI, New Products Innovation, NFRA and CSPA and has been a guest on Bloomberg Television’s Surveillance program as well as quoted in numerous publications.

Chad holds a MSc in Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy from the Vienna University of Economics & Business, B.A. in Economics with a minor in Political Science from Ohio State University, and a B.A. in International Studies-World Economy/Business with a minor in Russian from Ohio State University. Before joining The Freedonia Group, Chad was a Chief Engineman in the United States Navy and most recently worked with the European Regional Science Association.
