Refrigerant Transitions: The Impact to Decarbonization and Equipment Performance
Available On-demand Until October 20, 2023
Abstract:
Refrigerant transitions are coming and it’s a good thing. In this webinar, you will learn about how new refrigerants with low Global Warming Potential (GWP) impact your sustainability and decarbonization efforts. We will also explore the impact refrigerants have on efficiency and leaving water temperatures (LWTs), a “hot” topic in data center design and operations. A quick sidebar will look at how new refrigerants enable or unlock existing and new compressor technology. The last, but very important topic, will explore the timing of refrigerant transitions and the governing bodies, regulations and drivers behind all of these changes. Learning Objectives:
- Understand refrigerants and their contribution to decarbonization.
- Explore the impact refrigerants have on efficiency and leaving water temperatures (LWTs).
- A closer look at the timing of refrigerant transitions.
- What regulations and standards are driving refrigerant transitions.
