Ryan has over 20 years of application development experience working in technical leadership, architecture, development and support delivery roles helping customers, partners and ISVs envision and progress innovative ideas into functioning applications solving real world business and engineering challenges. From line of business applications running mission critical Enterprise workloads to time sensitive real-time software running robots and lasers on the plant floor, Ryan’s background in development has spanned across many verticals, technologies and platforms.
Ryan has been at Microsoft over 13 years in many different roles in Microsoft services, consulting, support and most recently helping Enterprise customers across the US understand how to leverage cloud computing effectively as a Cloud Solution architect.
Ryan has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and currently resides outside Detroit, MI with his wife Sara, daughter Ellie (15) and son Jack (18). In his free time, he is swims for US Masters swimming competing in meets around the state, is a software mentor at Grand Blanc school’s FIRST robotics team and speaks occasionally at Microsoft user groups and high school career fairs in the community.
Avi Kewalr
Avi Kewalramani, Lead Product manager in Azure Live Video Analytics, Microsoft.
Avi Kewalramani is a customer and business focused product manager for Microsoft’s Live Video Analytics platform. In the past, he has launched various products/features in Azure such as Azure Storage Events, Azure Storage Change Feed and co-launched Azure Data Lake Gen 2. Outside of product, he also interfaces with Microsoft Research to understand how cutting edge research can be integrated into Live Video Analytics platform to drive the TCO for customers on the edge. Prior to Product, he was a software engineer and engineering manager focused on big data and bioinformatics.
He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and Masters in Computer Science from University of Missouri. Outside of work, he is busy with his wife and 2 kids exploring the Seattle outdoors when opportunity presents. You can connect with him via LinkedIn, if you like.

Toby McClean

As ADLINK’s VP of IoT Technology and Innovation, Toby McClean plays an active role in understanding the pain points of customers and helps them develop technical solutions to solve those problems. Toby has spent almost two decades studying and applying computer science principles to software and system architecture to develop solutions that help to advance next generation business models. He has a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Carleton University in Canada.
