The spread of the Covid-19 virus has placed huge pressure on companies’ cash reserves, with many industries already at risk of bankruptcy. While governments are using every piece of fiscal firepower at their disposal, corporate treasurers must have the right tools in their armoury to take effective liquidity action.

Cash has become more strategic than ever, with weekly meetings chaired by the chief executive becoming commonplace in most businesses. The ‘Cash is King’ webinar will convene a leading corporate treasurer and a banking partner to highlight:

  • How treasurers can maximise their visibility and access to cash while allowing it to be deployed rapidly
  • How treasurers can build an effective cash management cycle, analyse cash exposure and identify idle cash
  • How treasurers can manage the effects of volatility when cash is managed locally and regionally
  • How treasurers can determine the ideal cash management structures and pooling to optimise their liquidity
  • And crucially, how treasurers can maintain strategic momentum around cash in the aftermath of covid-19, and distil understanding of cash within the wider organisation
