Autonomy and the Future of Construction

ON DEMAND THROUGH DECEMBER 10, 2021

Duration:60 minutes

Abstract:

Automation is critical for improved safety, increased efficiency, and easing the challenges caused by a global workforce shortage.

While the future of civil construction autonomy may be a bit over-hyped today, there are aspects of automation that are indeed enabling projects to improve productivity, accuracy and safety today. Focusing on the practical and tangible, our team will discuss the ways that automation is transforming today’s earthworks projects and project operations.

In this webinar we will discuss the different stages of autonomy, where the industry is now and the future of a data-driven, autonomous construction site. Learn how new hardware and software solutions are making it easier to enable connected workflows and manage projects remotely, with capabilities that include the wireless transfer of 3D designs and dashboards that show real-time job progress.

During this webinar, you will learn about:

  • The benefits of autonomous construction
  • The stages of autonomy
  • Where we are today
  • The future of data-enabled, autonomous construction
  • What does it mean for me?

The content of this webinar is produced and directed by the event's sponsor.
