Dr Scott Stevenson, DVM, MSC
Dr. Scott Stevenson began his career and continues to practice in the Thousand
Islands.
Originally from Barrie, Ontario, Scott developed a passion
for tick-borne disease research while studying veterinary
medicine, which led him to Gananoque. Today, he is
a recognized speaker across Ontario, educating veterinary
teams on expanding tick populations and the growing risk
of tick-borne illnesses to pets and humans. His goal is to
be the go-to resource for clients seeking expertise on ticks
in Eastern Ontario.
He has a strong focus on emerging technologies that
enhance client communication and care. His work with
LifeLearn in Guelph included training Sofie, the first
cognitive computing solution for veterinary medicine

public education, and technological proficiency
to strengthen the human animal bond and advance veterinary practice.
