Christian began his career at Deutsche Bank AG in 1991. Following a banking apprenticeship, Christian graduated in both Business Administration and Economics from the Ruhr University, Germany. After graduating, Christian rejoined Deutsche Bank, becoming the Head of Private Portfolio Management for Düsseldorf and then for the West/North West Germany region. In 2002 he became the head of the Chief Investment Office at Private Asset Management. He subsequently became Chief Investment Officer Euroland and head of portfolio management at Deutsche Bank’s Private & Business Clients (PBC) and Private Wealth Management (PWM) businesses. In 2009, he moved to Singapore to lead the Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) service in Asia Pacific and was Head of Strategy for the region. Christian relocated to London in 2013 as Global Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management. In 2014 he was appointed Global Head of Multi Asset, and became a member of the Global CIO ExCo of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management. Since early 2016 Christian has been the Global Chief Investment Officer for Deutsche Bank Wealth Management and a member of the Global Wealth Management ExCo. He remained the head of Wealth Discretionary (formerly DPM). In June 2020 he became Chief Investment Officer for DB International Private Bank following the merger of the Wealth Management and Private and Commercial Business (International) divisions. Christian was appointment Chief Investment Officer for DB Private Bank in July 2021 following the combining of Chief Investment Offices within International Private Bank and Private Bank Germany. He is a member of the International Private Bank ExCo and now a board member of DB Spain S.A.E. Christian’s main research focus is on managing strategic asset allocation processes within portfolios. He has also written about a range of topics including COVID-19’s impact on economic and market trends and the implications of central bank digital currencies (CBDC).

Tuan Huynh is currently Chief Investment Officer for Europe based in Frankfurt. He is responsible for the distribution of the house view of DB WM. In this role, Tuan also appears regularly on TV channels like CNBC and Bloomberg, on Radio and Newspapers/Magazines. Prior to this role, he was the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Wealth Discretionary for Emerging Markets based in Singapore. He was named CIO of the year by Asian Private Banker in 2018. Tuan started his career in Deutsche Bank in 1993 and has worked in locations like Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Singapore. Tuan holds a diploma in economics from University of Düsseldorf and he is a Certified European Financial Analyst.
