Chip Downing is the Senior Market Development Director of Aerospace and Defense at Real-Time Innovations (RTI). In this position he manages RTI’s global aerospace and defense business and helps drive the RTI Connext product, now used in over 1,500 global systems, into the commercial and military aerospace market.
Mr. Downing currently serves as the VP, Ecosystem of the DDS Foundation, where he is tasked with growing the sphere of influence of the OMG DDS standard with organizations that have companion specifications. In addition, he also serves as the Chair of the FACE Consortium BWG Outreach Subcommittee, promoting the FACE approach globally.
A veteran of the embedded systems industry and an innovator for creating COTS safety certification for commercial RTOSs, he previously served as Senior Director of Aerospace & Defense at Wind River Systems, where he was responsible for the business development of the company’s global A&D markets. During his 14-year Wind River tenure, design wins grew for certified avionics products grew to more than 500 projects. Mr. Downing has also led sales, marketing, and consulting organizations at Esterel Technologies (now Ansys), Validated Software, OnCore Systems, and Mentor Graphics (now Siemens).

Andre Odermatt

Andre Odermatt is a Technical Marketing Engineer for Real-Time Innovations (RTI). He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture, and Diploma of advanced studies in software engineering from the Bern University of Applied Science. Andre has over 20 years of experience in embedded software development and communication software. Prior to RTI, he worked on Telecom protocols at Alcatel where he developed test systems for Asynchronous Transfer mode systems and Trillium Digital Systems where he was responsible for the SS7 product line. Andre is also involved in the FACE consortium where he participates in the IWS working group, and works on multiple integration projects for the TIM and BITS events.
Thierry Le Sergent

Thierry Le Sergent got his PhD in computer science from LAAS-CNRS in 1993. He has more than 25 years of experience in the methods and tools development for Software Engineering at Verilog, Telelogic, Esterel Technologies and Ansys as R&D project manager then product manager for the flagship SCADE Suite product. In 2011, he launched the SCADE Architect product line, extending the scope of this SysML tool to the support of Avionics Interfaces, the FACE, the AADL and the AUTOSAR standards.
Lucas Fryzek

Lucas Fryzek has been a software developer with CoreAVI for 5 years and has recently transitioned over to the role of Field Application Engineer (FAE). Lucas has extensive hands-on experience in developing embedded software systems deployable in DO-178C safety critical environments and has worked in tandem with many of CoreAVI’s largest leading customers to deliver safety critical solutions, including those specializing in the division of graphics workloads across multiple CPU cores. Lucas’ experience with OpenGL SC and Vulkan APIs allow him to provide expert technical support and guidance both to CoreAVI’s customers and internal team.
Devon Yablonski

Devon Yablonski is the Senior Director of A&D Solutions at Wind River Systems, overseeing business development activities, including open standards and partner ecosystem, and developing the A&D market’s product requirements. Prior to Wind River, Devon held several roles including technical product management of Mercury Systems’ safe and secure, embedded processing products. Devon has a Master of Science in Computer & Electrical Engineering degree from Northeastern University and an MBA from Boston College's Carroll School of Management.
