Abstract
How are you measuring the effectiveness of your security program? Whether you’re a security leader conducting routine internal reviews or an external stakeholder conducting an assessment of a program, it is important to always keep in mind that the scope and functions of a program are largely dependent on the priorities and needs of the business it is supporting. In this webinar, security experts will share how to measure the effectiveness of your security program, including how to clearly document program maturity and subsequently plan for year-over-year growth. They will also discuss tactics for communicating how existing program capabilities compare to enterprise risks to better arm security leaders with the tools to manage internal audits, resource allocation, budget requests, and other forms of program scope creep. Additionally, they will discuss how to take a holistic approach to security program measurement that provides security leadership with the information they need to make better decisions for the health of the organization. Learning Objectives:
- Creating a baseline for the year-over-year measurement and evaluation of program maturity
- Strategies for benchmarking against industry peers
- Effective tools for measuring the ROI of your security program
- Ways to leverage tools and technology to increase program efficiencies and how to document those wins
