Alejandro has worked in specialty ingredient innovation for more than 20 years. He has held leadership positions in product development and research at several companies, creating value-added ingredients from a wide variety of sources, with a special focus on grain-based ingredients and applications. Since 2019, he has been Bartek’s lead technical advisor for bakery innovation. In this role, he leads the research and development of new ingredients to help bakeries meet evolving market needs while being cost-effective, in support of the diversification of Bartek’s ingredient portfolio.
