Michael Garcia has been at the forefront of the Cloud Computing revolution and an active agent of disruption over the course of his career at Amazon Web Services for the past decade. As a Principal Solutions Architect, Michael acts as a trusted technical advisor for executives and their technical teams, to identify and remove barriers of adoption in order to drive change appropriately. Michael accumulated 7 AWS Certifications as an Architect, a Developer and a DevOps engineer while specializing across multiple technological domains such as IoT and machine learning in recent years. He helped launch more than 10 AWS services, contributed to AWS training & certifications programs, submitted patents for new products, wrote multiple AWS blog articles and designed AWS Reference Architecture. He has been an inspirational AWS Spokesperson for the press and supported various public conferences such as RE:Invent for many years and across multiple continents.”

Tarun has been at BlackBerry for nearly 20 years, starting in technical roles and moving into product management for mobile and IoT solutions. He led the product management team for EMEA and APAC, before moving into a pure product management role in 2017. Tarun currently works in the BlackBerry Advanced Technology Development Labs, an R&D team dedicated to exploring opportunities and creating innovative BlackBerry technology, including the new BlackBerry IVY solution, a scalable, cloud-connected software platform being developed with AWS that will allow automakers to create personalized experiences and improve operations of connected vehicles.
