Rebecca Perl is a Program Specialist with AARP Fraud Victim Support team and AARP ElderWatch program. She is responsible for financial literacy work, empowering Coloradans 50+ with financial security and money management tools to help them save, spend wisely and avoid scams. She speaks around Colorado about financial empowerment and fraud prevention. Rebecca graduated from Drake University with a degree in Public Relations and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University. She specializes in public policy, program development and community building. In her free time, you can find Rebecca hiking the beautiful Rockies, cooking meals for loved ones, and road tripping to National Parks.
Jacqlin Lauren McKinnon
Communications Specialist
Stopfraud Colorado
As a Communications Specialist for the Stopfraud Colorado program, Jacqlin Davis has worked with countless law enforcement, regulatory entities, and non-profit programs across the state to help Coloradans learn to identify, prevent, and report fraud. Jacqlin has designed several fraud prevention initiatives, most recently, launching the National Consumer Protection campaign at the Colorado Attorney General’s office—which provides consumer protection-related support to individuals, families, and communities in Colorado. Her day-to-day efforts also include social media management and assisting the program with its graphic design efforts.
Jacqlin earned both her Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Arts degree in Communication, with a specialization in Message Production from Western Illinois University. A Chicago native, Jacqlin relocated to Denver four years ago. She loves traveling, reading, writing, cooking, and her Airedale Terrier, Harley.
