Matthew Formica runs Intel’s OpenVINO AI software product marketing efforts, helping developers and customers leverage Intel’s Edge AI developer tools. AI, especially computer vision related, is increasingly a part of use cases across the spectrum: defect detection on assembly lines, disease detection in medical equipment and shelf stocking notifications in retail stores to name just a few. Getting the best performance and ROI requires the right tools. With OpenVINO, developers can easily accelerate their inferencing solution performance by several times using the general purpose compute already built into their solutions, and using OpenVINO APIs they can write once and deploy across a wide range of Intel processors.

Richard leads CyberLink’s worldwide marketing and oversees Americas operations. Previously, he was President of Nero Inc. and General Manager at Corel. Richard also worked at McKinsey & Company and Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA from Dartmouth College. He also graduated from the London Business School and HEC Montreal.

Shawn Jack is the Associate Vice President of Sales and Partnership Alliances at Advantech, responsible for leading a team of professional sales and business development executives across North America. Today, he leads multiple sales and business development teams:
- Key Account Sales Team (Depth), a team focused on going deep and wide within a named account base positioning Advantech as a strategic resource and trusted adviser to OEM customers.
- AOnline Sales Team (Breadth), a team focused on driving acquisition accounts by using both Embedded IoT and design-in products and services.
- Business Development Group (Partners), a team focused on harvesting meaningful partnerships by cross/co-selling and marketing activities that promote the Advantech brand and expands our reach in different market segments. The group is responsible for driving premier partnerships with Intel, Microsoft, ARM, NXP, and channel collaboration with Arrow, Avnet, and others to ultimately provide an on-ramp for SI’s and ISV's to build repeatable IoT Solution Ready Packages (SRP).
He has over 20 years of experience in both direct and channel sales, product marketing, and business development in both the embedded and industrial IoT marketplace. Shawn holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He completed a Technical Leadership Management program through UCLA Extension, and is currently enrolled in master’s in management classes through the Harvard Extension School.
For adventure, Shawn enjoys playing golf, cycling, and backpacking; most recently climbing Half Dome in Yosemite National Forrest.
