Ibrahim Sani is the Lead Business Editor and Executive Producer of Astro AWANI. He anchors Notepad and a few other shows at the station. Prior to this, he was a Presenter and Producer of the Morning Run at BFM Radio, where he hosted the Breakfast Grille. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and has a post-graduate Diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA).

Dato' Sulaiman Mohd Tahir

Dato’ Sulaiman has been leading the commercial banking arm of AmBank Group since November 2015. With a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from RMIT University, he has over 30 years of experience managing and spearheading the growth of consumer, commercial, and corporate banking in Malaysia. He also sits on the Board of several other AMMB Holdings Berhad subsidiaries.

Vimala Murugan

Director, Sectoral Policy I, MITI

Ms. Vimala Murugan is the Director of Sectoral Policy I of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). She joined MITI in 1996 after graduating from the University of Malaya with BA (Hons) History. During her service in MITI, she has served in both the International Trade and Industry Wings, including being posted twice to MITI overseas offices in Manila, the Philippines and Brussels, Belgium. She has also completed her Master Degree in Business Management (Strategic Management) from the University of Technology Malaysia.

Royce Tan

Director, Bosch Rexroth

Before anyone has even heard of Industry 4.0, Royce Tan has been at the helm of the movement when he started his career in the supplies of components to OEM car manufacturers. He is a champion of Industry 4.0 for the manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors in Malaysia’s industries as lead user and lead producer of Bosch Group’s 283 plants worldwide.

Dato’ Ng Wan Peng is no stranger to anyone involved in the ICT business in Malaysia. As COO of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), a government-owned agency pioneering the transformation of Malaysia’s digital economy, she is responsible for the strategic execution of MDEC’s initiatives. While juggling her responsibilities at MDEC, she continues to consult both private and public sector organisations in IT policy and project implementation across government, defense, and education sectors here and internationally.

Dr Dzaharudin Mansor

National Technology Officer, Microsoft Malaysia

Dr. Dzaharudin has more than 33 years of professional experience in ICT and telecommunications. As the NTO, Dzahar drives the engagement with key national technology stakeholders, which include academics, policymakers & advisors, and interest groups with the intention to builds trust while contributing to national development. He also presently holds, and has held, several associate positions including as an Adjunct Professor at IIUM, a counselor at PIKOM and academic advisor at several public and private universities.

Eqhwan Mokhzanee Bin Muhammad

At the helm of AmBank Islamic group is Eqhwan Mokhzanee. Having received his start at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, he now has over 20 years of corporate and financial services experience in Malaysia’s local and foreign banks. His intrinsic understanding of the financial sector has led him to develop award-winning and innovative Islamic financial structures, on which he has published research papers. He is an alumni of the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Economics.

Mohd Fakarudin bin Mas'od

Chief Assistant Director, JAKIM

Mohd Fakarudin began his career in 2000 as a Research and Development Executive in a private company and later joined the Ministry of Health, Malaysia (MOH) in 2003. He joined JAKIM in 2004 until present and his current position is as Chief Assistant Director. He had participated in many meetings related to Halal issues and was involved as committee member in developing Malaysia Standard MS 1500:2009 and Handbook of Halal Food Additives.

Remee Yaakub

Remee joined Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) in July 2001. Throughout years with MATRADE, he has been given the opportunity to gain extensive exposure in key market development fundamentals covering export promotion, exporters development, market intelligence and trade advisory, including 3 overseas assignments in Dubai, UAE and Mexico City, Mexico. His career in MATRADE allows him to grow his analytical competence, rooted from passion in economics, allowing him to soundly document and voice thoughts and views on tactical and strategic planning surrounding export development.
