Speakers

Shannon Paret, CPA, CGA

Shannon joined Wolters Kluwer in 2015 as a solution architect for its Canadian tax, accounting and audit division. She is a CPA, CGA and spent 10 years with a federal crown corporation in a multitude of corporate finance roles, moving into an account manager role for her remaining four years.

Following that, Shannon transitioned to Canada’s largest retailer, spending four years as a senior manager of vendor governance, rolling out a new governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software program for its IT and strategic sourcing divisions. She shifted roles to become a senior solution architect for a small outfit in Ottawa, providing leadership to clients and driving delivery of GRC implementations. Shannon arrived at Wolters Kluwer with deep, broad experience in accounting, finance, sales and software solutions.
