Innovations in Vehicle Autonomy

START DATE:2/26/2020

Start Time:2:00 PM EST

Duration:60 minutes

Abstract:

The industry is looking to save lives, reduce injuries, improve mobility equity and convenience, and move people and goods more efficiently. The immense opportunities are being addressed in two ways: existing advanced driver assistance systems are being incrementally improved for privately owned vehicles and highly automated mobility-service vehicle technology is being developed to move both passengers and goods. Major challenges include the need for better approaches to systems engineering, cost reduction, sensor fusion, data processing, artificial intelligence and software development; and education of end consumers.

During this webinar, you will learn:

  1. Major Autonomous technology trends
  2. Challenges of the fast-growing industry
  3. How engineers are developing, simulating, and testing systems for prototype and production.
