AGENDA:
The growth of any company is dependent on its ability to have consumers use their product. This is why understanding users’ needs, wants and expectations should be central to a company’s goals—having a world-class User Experience (UX) process has the power to transform a tech company.
The UX design process involves acquiring and integrating the product: including branding, user research, usability and function, which all require a human/ user-centered approach. Best practice UX is based on knowing and understanding the user. Since people of colour are major consumers, this necessitates having greater empathy and a better comprehension of their behaviours and communities. By building an inclusive design process, companies are able to challenge assumptions and deliver custom solutions, with an optimal degree of consumer satisfaction and business ROI.
Diversity is not just a “nice to have” but should be an ethical requirement in UX, based on research design best practice. A varied and multifaceted team, working on delivering a product with an optimal user experience, will require design tools that are globally inclusive and representative.
Presented by TWG, this masterclass will speak to world-class user experiences and how they are innately inclusive by design.
