VACUUM SKIN PACKAGING: Increased Shelf Appeal and Shelf Life Leads to Reduced Food Waste

on demand until september 23, 2022

Abstract:

Vacuum Skin Packaging is a highly efficient packaging film with excellent optical properties. It extends the shelf-life of fresh products like meat and fish up to three weeks. The material usage is reduced compared to conventional Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP).

This webinar explains the seamless step-by-step journey — from resin via extrusion, crosslinking and converting/slitting to final packaging — to produce high-quality VSP Films and Packaging.

  • Reduced food waste through extended shelf life
  • Reduced material consumption
  • Increased shelf appeal
