Abstract: AI is being performed at the Edge of the IoT. Very soon, it’ll be commonplace in handheld and wearable electronic devices, and in all the appliances and infrastructure Edge devices, presumably working in the background to make our lives better, easier, and more secure. But systems at the Edge are often limited in terms of power and compute resources. So, how can we deploy these power-hungry algorithms at the Edge?

Taking advantage of accelerators like GPUs, Tensor Processing Units (TPUs), FPGAs, and even customized ASICs can make AI at the Edge a practical reality.
