Doug Fast is a professional engineer (PE) and technical leader for Owens Corning's Industrial Mineral Wool product offerings. He has over 20 years of experience in the insulation material industry working in product testing, technical services and new product development. He has a working knowledge of materials such as foam plastics, fiberglass and mineral fiber as well as other traditional high temperature insulations. Doug has contributed to the industrial insulation industry through participation with ASTM as well as technical education in the form of technical bulletins, blogs, podcasts and webinars related to topics such as acoustics, moisture, CUI and personnel protection.
