Morena G. Beronio currently serves as the Operations Department Head-Laboratory Services Department at Manila Water Company, Inc. (MWCI), a role she assumed in January 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Santo Tomas.

With over 15 years of experience at MWCI in laboratory management and regulatory compliance in the water and wastewater industry, Morena has held various key positions throughout her career. These include roles as Technical Services Resource Planning Manager, Regulatory/Laboratory Compliance Manager, and Head of the Laboratory Quality Assurance Section.

In her current position, she is responsible for ensuring 100% compliance with KPIs in water and wastewater quality testing. Morena leads research and development initiatives aimed at improving water and wastewater quality while also engaging with stakeholders and regulators to shape policies that ensure compliance.
