He has worked mainly in the field of primary packaging for the food industry. At Hoffmann Neopac AG, a technological leader in manufacturing tin packaging and flexible high-barrier tubes, Mauro Merico is mainly responsible for developing new concepts and applications for tin packaging. His function plays a crucial role as link between Marketing, R&D and production department. Main focus is to supply “Innovation by Tin” and satisfy customer’s packaging needs and requirements. Prior to joining Hoffmann Neopac AG, he was with international manufacturers as Südpack Verpackungen GmbH Germany (2013-2015), Amcor Flexibles Europe & America (2004-2013), Goglio SpA Italy (1995-2003), UCIMU SPP Italy (1991-1994) and IBM SEMEA SpA Italy (1988-1990).

Since March 2017, Cedric is active as analyst-consultant at the Belgian Packaging Institute (IBE-BVI). Within the Child Resistant Packaging Department, Cedric effectuates the different child and adults test according to the European and/or international standards as well as the US protocol. His expertise is also used in the CEN/ISO working groups. He is in direct contact with the clients, which is highly appreciated due to the fact that he can report them directly on the testing. As well clients form the pharmaceutical, the chemical as the packaging sector are in his portfolio and this at worldwide level.

Co-Founder

Case Mandel is the Co-Founder of Cannadips, the Original Smokeless Cannabis and American Hemp CBD pouch and founder of ArcataX for live resin extraction in California. His journey into cannabis started on the River music festival in Humboldt County. From there, he started with growing and processing cannabis in the hills of Northern California to now working exclusively with Lexaria Bioscience (LXRP) on optimizing the smokeless oral absorption of cannabinoid. His passion is getting to use cannabis to help people quit using tobacco. Before cannabis, he was venturing down a career in medicine. His undergrad was in kinesiology, which provided a great foundation for understanding the human body.
