Professor Timotei Centea
Timotei Centea is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southern California, and a faculty member within the M.C. Gill Composites Center. He earned a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University. His research interests and expertise center on fundamental and applied aspects of the manufacturing of high-performance composites. Recently, his work has focused on technologies for improving production efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability. His research is funded by government and industry partners, and has received multiple awards, including the Best Paper of the 26th Annual Conference of the American Society for Composites (2011).

Rishi Malhan is a graduate research assistant at Center for Advanced Manufacturing, University of Southern California in Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. He is pursuing a Ph. D. degree in Robotics and Automation under Professor Satyandra K. Gupta. His research revolves around developing computational foundations for manufacturing processes. Focus areas include Numerical Optimization, Machine learning, and Motion Planning. He currently works on realizing a multi-robot hybrid cell for Carbon-fiber sheet layup process. He is also active in Additive manufacturing, and robotic finishing research areas. He was awarded for academic excellence his department by University of Southern California after completion of Masters program in 2018.

Scott Zanio holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) from the California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology. He makes his home in the Southern California area.
